IP RETTENS DAG in Denmark

Pernille and Luna will  join the IP conference in Copenhagen Denmark, IP Rettens Dag. Intellectual property (IP) is a important factor for success in international competition. This is especially true for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which often lack the resources and expertise to navigate the complex IP system. It is therefore important to understand how IP frameworks and terms affect Danish companies and which initiatives can help them make the best use of the IP system. The Ministry of Commerce’s IP action plan aims to strengthen the IP area in Denmark and help Danish companies protect their intellectual property rights. The conference will present selected initiatives from the Action Plan and discuss how to help SMEs protect their innovation and build their IP portfolio. The conference will also look into design rights and investigate whether Danish companies make sufficient use of the opportunities in the design system. The design reform will also be reviewed, and there will be a panel debate on how to best utilize the opportunities in the design system. Another important debate will concern the patent reform and its opportunities for Danish companies. Three experts will provide an overview of the scheme and discuss how SMEs and large Danish companies can make the best use of the scheme. The conference will also include perspectives on growth and how IP can be used to create value and growth in companies. Four different companies will share their experiences and show how they have used IP to strengthen their business and create growth. The conference will also feature representatives from the European Patent Organization and the Patent and Trademark Office, who will be available to answer questions and provide guidance on IP frameworks and terms. IP rights can be a critical factor in a company’s success, especially in today’s competitive environment. The conference on IP frameworks and terms will help Danish companies make the best use of the IP system and build a strong IP portfolio. This will ultimately help them achieve success in the global market and strengthen Denmark’s position as a leading nation in innovation and technology. We look forward to be a part of the day and to be updated.
